Mine Cards and Profit per Hour: How Passive Income Works

A deep guide to Mine cards in Lootbeez: how profit per hour works, how card costs grow, offline profit, bonuses, collections, the Daily Combo and a simple buying plan.

What Mine cards are

Mine cards are small businesses that you buy with game coins: a fish market, a farm stand, a camel market, an ice hut, depending on the World you are in. Every card has a level, and every level adds a fixed amount of profit per hour. All your cards together make your profit per hour (often shortened to PPH), which is shown at the top of the Mine tab and on the Home screen.

The important part is that cards work for you while you are away. Close the game, go to school or work, and your cards keep earning for up to three hours. When you open the game, a Welcome back message shows what they made, and the coins are added to your balance.

The Mine tab

The Mine tab shows your cards in groups (tabs). The first group follows your World, so a forest World sells farm goods and a desert World sells spices and pottery. Other groups hold more cards. Every card shows its level, its profit per hour, the cost of its next level, and a button to upgrade. Some cards also show a wait or a condition.

From World 2 onwards, the card names, pictures, pets, buildings and creatures change with the World. Your levels stay with your account: the cards are the same cards underneath, and only their names and pictures are different.

How costs and profits grow

Every level of a card costs more than the one before: about 1.45 times the previous price. The profit grows too, by about 1.25 times for each level. This means that the first levels are cheap and give a good return, and later levels cost more for each extra coin of profit.

The practical lesson is to compare cards by return: how much extra profit per hour do you get for every coin you pay? A cheap card with a good return beats an expensive card that gives only a little more. The Mine tab shows both the cost and the profit gain, so you can compare in seconds.

A simple rule of thumb: when two cards have the same cost, buy the one that gives more profit. When you are unsure, buy the card with the lowest cost for each coin of profit.

Offline profit

Your cards earn while the game is closed, but only up to a limit. The limit is three hours. If you come back after five hours, you collect three hours of profit, not five. The next hours start counting from the moment you open the game.

A Manager stretches the limit. You can buy a Manager with diamonds in the Daily tab, and while it is active your cards earn for up to twelve hours while you are away. This is useful when you know you will be offline for a long time, for example overnight.

The best habit is simple: collect, spend and come back within three hours when you can. If you cannot, plan to activate a Manager before you leave.

Waits, conditions and limited cards

Some cards have a short wait between upgrades. You can wait it out, or skip it with diamonds. Some cards are only open after a condition is met, such as owning another card at a certain level. The Mine tab explains each condition on the card.

Limited-time cards appear for a few days and then disappear. They are often strong, so check the Mine tab and the news when an event is running.

Bonuses on top of the cards

The Daily Combo

Every day three Mine cards are chosen secretly by the game. The Daily tab shows hints and how many you have found. Upgrade the cards that you think are in the combo, and when all three are found, claim the reward. Because the reward is large compared with a normal upgrade, it is worth checking the combo before you spend coins.

The combo changes each day. If you miss a day, you do not get the old one back.

Pearls, crystals and the Vault

Other parts of the game feed your cards. Pearls and crystals come from your base and from expeditions; a pearl counts as 500 coins when you use it to feed a pet. The Vault lets you lock coins for one, three, seven or thirty days in exchange for a fixed bonus, which is a way to grow coins that you do not need right now. See the Upgrades guide.

Common mistakes

Questions players ask

Do cards earn when the game is closed? Yes, for up to three hours (twelve with a Manager).

Can I lose my cards? No. Cards are permanent unless you delete your account or use a Rebirth, which tells you what is reset before you confirm.

Why did my profit per hour change after I moved to a new World? The names change; your levels stay. If numbers look different, open the card to see its new cost and profit.
