Upgrades Guide: Mining Rig, Vault, Streak Shield and Manager
How the permanent upgrades in Lootbeez work: the Mining Rig for voice mining, the Vault for saving coins, the Streak Shield and the Manager, with costs and advice on what to buy first.
Why upgrades matter
Mine cards give profit per hour, but a few upgrades work beside them and make your whole game stronger. This guide explains four of them: the Mining Rig, the Vault, the Streak Shield and the Manager. All of them use game coins or diamonds, and none uses real money.
The Mining Rig
The Mining Rig boosts voice mining. It has ten levels. Each level adds 10 percent to every spoken second, so level 10 doubles your voice mining.
Costs at the time of writing: 25,000, 60,000, 125,000, 250,000, 450,000, 750,000, 1.2 million, 1.8 million, 2.6 million and 3.75 million coins for levels 1 to 10. The bonus is permanent, so a rig level pays back for as long as you keep mining.
Who should buy it early? Anybody who speaks to the game every day. If you mine only a few minutes a week, Mine cards are the better buy.
The Vault
The Vault lets you lock coins for a fixed time in exchange for a fixed bonus. You choose a plan: 1, 3, 7 or 30 days. At the time of writing the base bonuses are 2 percent, 7 percent, 18 percent and 90 percent. Each Vault level makes the bonus 5 percent bigger than the level before (for example, 2 percent becomes 2.1 percent). A deposit has a minimum of 5,000 coins and a maximum that grows with your Vault level, and you have a limited number of deposit slots.
The bonus is shown before you deposit, and it is fixed at that moment. When the time is over, you claim your coins and the bonus. If you need your coins sooner, you can take them back early, but you lose the bonus.
The Vault is for coins that you will not need soon. Coins that sit in the Vault do not buy cards, so compare the bonus with what the same coins would earn as a Mine card before you decide. The Vault also keeps coins away from impulse purchases.
The Streak Shield
A Streak Shield protects your login streak. If you miss a day, the game spends a shield, and your streak carries on. A shield costs 25,000 coins and you can hold two at a time.
Because a long streak adds up to 30 percent to your profit per hour, one shield for a day that you cannot play is very cheap insurance.
The Manager
The Manager is bought with diamonds in the Daily tab. While it is active, your Mine cards keep earning for up to twelve hours while you are away, instead of three. Use it before a night, a trip or a busy day. If you play every few hours, you do not need it.
What to buy first
- Start with Mine cards: they earn without you.
- Add the first Mining Rig levels if you speak to the game daily.
- Buy a Streak Shield when your streak is worth protecting (after about a week).
- Use the Vault for coins you will not touch for a few days.
- Keep diamonds for a Manager when you expect a long break, and for skipping long card waits.
Questions players ask
Can I get my coins back from the Vault early? Yes, without the bonus.
Do upgrades reset when I move to a new World? No. They belong to your account.
Is the Vault bonus guaranteed? The bonus shown when you deposit is fixed for that deposit. Rules for future deposits can change.
