How to use this page

This list explains the words you will meet in the game, in alphabetical order. Each entry is short; the linked guides at the end explain the larger systems in full.

A to E

• Achievements: one-time goals, such as reaching a level or a login streak, that give a reward when finished.
• Base: your buildings. In World 1 they are the Coral Farm, the Pearl Lab and the Crystal Mine; they produce coins, pearls and crystals while you are away.
• Chain Chest: one of three chests opened by finishing the first 3, 5 and 7 daily missions.
• Coins: the main game points. Earned by mining, cards, games and rewards; spent on cards and upgrades. They have no cash value.
• Crystals: a rare resource from the base, expeditions, chests and the Season Pass.
• Daily Combo: three secret Mine cards each day; upgrade all three to win a large reward.
• Diamonds: a rare currency used for the Manager and for skipping waits.
• Encyclopedia: the collection of creatures you discover while mining, with ten habitats per World.
• Energy bar: the amount of voice mining you can do now. It holds 30 minutes of speaking and fills again in about three hours.
• Expedition: a timed trip that returns with coins and sometimes diamonds, crystals and XP.

F to O

• Free games: short arcade games in the Games button that pay coins for your score, with a daily limit.
• Level: your player level from 1 to 20, raised by XP. A higher level makes voice mining faster.
• Lucky Draw: a free guessing game with a new draw every 30 minutes; a right guess wins coins.
• Lucky Spin: a wheel with a few free spins a day and game prizes.
• Manager: bought with diamonds; lets your Mine cards earn for up to twelve hours while you are away instead of three.
• Mine cards: businesses you buy and upgrade in the Mine tab; together they make your profit per hour.
• Mining Rig: an upgrade with ten levels; each adds 10 percent to voice mining.
• Missions: seven small daily goals that open the chain chests.
• More tab: free challenges with a target score and a coin prize.
• Ocean Areas: twenty backgrounds in World 1. Each one you buy makes voice mining faster, up to twice as fast.

P to Z

• Pearls: a resource from the base and the Season Pass; one pearl counts as 500 coins when feeding a pet.
• Pets: animals that give a boost, such as the Dolphin for voice mining. Feed them to raise their level.
• Prestige: at level 20, go back to level 1 for a permanent 10 percent mining bonus, up to ten times.
• Profit per hour: how many coins your Mine cards make each hour, also while you are away.
• Rebirth: after World 10, start again from World 1 with a permanent profit bonus.
• Season Pass: a free track of 50 tiers that starts again every 30 days.
• Secret Code: a code posted on our social pages that gives coins when typed in before it expires.
• Streak: the number of days in a row you opened the game; each day adds 2 percent profit, up to 30 percent.
• Streak Shield: protects your streak if you miss a day.
• Turbo: makes voice mining three times as fast for ten minutes, a few times a day.
• Vault: locks coins for 1, 3, 7 or 30 days and returns them with a fixed bonus.
• Voice mining: earning coins and XP by speaking into the microphone. Only the length of speech counts; your words are not recorded or stored.
• Weekly Boss: your own sea monster with 15,000 health, beaten by playing during the week.
• World: one of ten themed stages. Each new World is faster: World 2 earns twice as fast as World 1, World 10 ten times as fast.
• World Boss: a boss shared by every player in your World; beat it together for a big reward.
• XP: experience points. Mostly from voice mining; they raise your level and your Season Pass tier.
