Voice Mining Explained: Energy, Speed Boosts and Limits

The full guide to voice mining in Lootbeez: how it works, what the energy bar does, every multiplier that makes a spoken second worth more, and how to plan your sessions.

How voice mining works

Voice mining is the feature that gives Lootbeez its name. When you tap the microphone and speak, the game adds coins and experience (XP) for every second you are talking. When you are silent, nothing is added. Tapping alone never earns anything.

Behind the scenes, your browser gives the game a live level of how loud the microphone is. The game checks that level, on your device, once every moment. If the sound is above a small threshold, it counts that second as speech. Only the number of spoken seconds is sent to our server, which then pays you the coins.

Your voice is private

We take this seriously, so here it is plainly: the game does not record your voice. Nothing is saved, nothing is uploaded and nothing is turned into text. The game does not use speech recognition at all. It reads a loudness number and throws it away a moment later.

You stay in control. The microphone permission belongs to your browser, so you can switch it off at any time in the site settings of lootbeez.com. Without it, voice mining simply stops working, and the rest of the game still does.

The energy bar

Voice mining spends an energy bar. A full bar holds about 30 minutes of speech. While you talk, the bar goes down second by second. When you stop, it starts to refill, and a completely empty bar takes about three hours to become full again. It refills while the game is closed too, because the server works out how much time has passed.

The Home screen shows how much energy you have left. If you try to mine with an empty bar, the game tells you when you can mine again. A notification (if you allowed notifications) can tell you the moment the bar is full.

Why does the bar exist? It keeps the game relaxed and fair. Nobody needs to talk for hours to keep up with other players, and nobody can get far ahead only by talking all day. On top of the bar there is a daily limit on counted speaking time (four hours), which protects the game from marathon sessions and bots.

How many coins is a second worth?

Every spoken second starts from a base value of half a coin. That base is then multiplied by several things. The final amount per second is shown in the game, and these are the parts that make it up:

All of these multiply together. That is why moving to a new World, which multiplies everything, feels so strong, and why a few small bonuses add up to a big difference over time.

Experience and levels

Voice mining also gives XP. XP raises your level, from 1 to 20, and each level raises your mining multiplier. XP is not multiplied by the World speed, so levels progress at a steady pace while coins grow faster.

Besides mining, other activities give XP too: missions, games, achievements and some rewards.

The Mining Rig

The Mining Rig is a permanent upgrade for voice mining. It has ten levels. Each level costs more than the one before, starting at 25,000 coins and rising to millions, and adds 10 percent to your voice mining. Because the rig multiplies every second you will ever speak, it is one of the best long-term purchases for anybody who mines often. The Upgrades guide explains how to weigh it against Mine cards.

Turbo and events

Turbo is a short boost found in the Daily tab. It multiplies voice mining by three for ten minutes, a few times each day. Use it when you plan to talk for a while, for example while reading aloud, so that the boosted minutes are full of speech.

Events appear in the news and on the Home screen. An event may multiply mining for a few days. Check them, because a double or triple event is the best moment to use your energy bar.

Planning your sessions

Troubleshooting

Mining does not start. Check that the browser has permission to use the microphone, that the right microphone is chosen, and that no other app is using it. Reload the page and tap the microphone again.

The counter moves although I am quiet. Background noise counts as sound. Move to a quieter place. The game cannot tell voices from noise.

The counter does not move when I talk. Speak a little louder or closer to the microphone, and check the device volume settings for the microphone. Some Bluetooth headsets sleep when idle.

The game says I am out of energy. That is the energy bar. Wait for the refill, or spend the time on Mine cards, the Daily tab and free games.

I reached the daily limit. There is a cap on counted speaking time each day. It resets the next day.

Mining honestly

Please mine with your own voice. Bots, recordings played into the microphone, tools that fake sound and other tricks are against the Fair Play Rules. The server checks that the reported seconds match real time, and rewards that were got unfairly may be removed, with the account banned.
